Vizione is a player. It plays what you point it at, and it is your responsibility that you are entitled to watch it.
What Vizione is
A media player for iPhone and iPad. It contains no content. It ships with nothing pre-loaded. It has no directory, catalogue, search or recommendation of places to obtain media, and no means of discovering an address you do not already have.
We have no affiliation, agreement or relationship with anyone who supplies media, and we neither host, cache, index, transmit nor modify anything you watch. Media travels directly between your device and the server you chose.
Permitted use
You may use Vizione to play:
- media you own, or that you have created or recorded yourself;
- media on a server you operate, or that is operated on your behalf;
- streams that are free to air, public domain, openly licensed, or otherwise made publicly available by the rights holder;
- services you hold a valid licence or account for, where the terms of that service allow you to use a media player of your choosing.
Vizione is intended for personal and private use.
Prohibited use
You must not use Vizione, or a Vizione account, to:
- access, play, copy or record any material you do not have the right to;
- circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, any technological protection measure, geographical restriction, access control or authentication;
- use credentials that are not yours, or that you are not permitted to use;
- redistribute, re-stream, publish or make available to the public anything you play through it;
- resell access to any server, or use Vizione as part of a commercial service supplying media to others;
- break any law that applies to you, or the terms of any service you use.
How we enforce this
We hold no content, so there is nothing of anyone's for us to take down. What we do hold is accounts, and we will act on those.
Where we have reasonable grounds to believe an account is being used in breach of this policy, we may suspend or close it. Where someone breaches it repeatedly, we will close their account and decline to provide them another. We do not need a court order to do either — this is a condition of use.
We will cooperate with lawful requests from rights holders and authorities, within the hard limit of what we actually hold. We cannot tell anyone what a person has watched, because we do not keep it. See the privacy policy for exactly what does and does not exist here.
Reporting misuse
If you are a rights holder, or you believe Vizione is being used in breach of this policy, email abuse@vizioneplayer.com with enough detail to identify what you are reporting. We read every one.
Please note what we can and cannot do. We can close an account. We cannot remove media, block an address, or stop a server operating, because none of those things are ours — they belong to whoever runs the server, who has no relationship with us.
